love the location of this condo... very quite, which I needed with having going through a very tough 4 months, my daddy's battle with cancer for 3 months & dying last month, & having a quite place to reflect is just what I needed. Would be use this condo again.

This unit is very dated. There was no lamp in bedroom (though there is one pictured), living room ceiling fan is missing 2 blades, kitchen is poorly stocked ie.only 4 forks total, several drains were missing covers, the pull out couch is the worst I have ever seen. There is no way the owner has ever slept on that couch. We had to get an air mattress for our children because it hurt to lay on the mattress (I tried it myself!)

The reservation and check-in / check-out process was great. I do question the manager's qualifications/requirements for units it represents after this stay. Our unit was probably never repaired or updated since it was built. We are friends of owners of another unit at Pelican Pointe, and they couldn't believe the condition of 503. Original worn out furniture and raggy appliances, scratches and chips in paint on walls, carpets worn, floors old with stained mildewed grout, sofa materials torn, TV had no hookups for components (DVD). None of these would ruin a short trip to the beach, but I wouldn't want to stay there long term or have guests over. Most of all I think it's completely unfair to have to pay the same rate for a junky unit as for a unit that is in great condition, and I think the property manager should be more responsible to ensure the unit is as good as it is presented online. This unit should be down-graded and the owners should be reprimanded.

The location of this property directly on the beach was perfect for our (5) grandkids. The weather was warm and the beach and water were both very clean. I would recommend this property for any large family/group who wish to enjoy everything that the gulf has to offer!

This unit needs to be updated. TV's were old and outdated, cabinet doors didn't close, carpet needs to be restretched and cleaned. The unit was also not very clean - very dusty and sand on the floor.

We did not have parking passes in our unit on our arrival. We received tow notices on our cars and did not receive the parking passes even after the people at the security gate called. I ended up having to take the time out to call Meyer, be put on hold, then sort it all out for myself. This was frustrating and we spent too much time dealing with this while worrying that our cars were going to be towed. Extremely frustrating.

This was our first time in Gulf Shore and it was a wonderful experience. We loved our stay at Pelican Pointe 704. It was more then we could have e er hoped for of a vacation!! Thank you Meyer Rental.
