Very close to the Village Lodge -- 10 minute walk. However, Hidden Valley Road is a curved uphill walk to the Village Lodge (you can't cut across the curved road either). This is still very manageable, even for snowboarders carrying gear, but you probably won't want to make multiple trips back and forth each day. Make sure to bring chains even if the road is clear if you plan on driving up Hidden Valley Road because it can get icy. Also, make sure to bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper since you can hear the neighbors upstairs. Also, might want to bring some starter logs -- the wood was too wet to start a fire (but caught on once it was dried by being placed on another log on fire) and had to get some dry wood from the management office.
